Users Reporting 'Freezing' Issues with Fable II
Gamers have contacted Kotaku as well as the Lionhead Community forums with reports of difficulties in playing Fable II. Specifically, they say that their games are freezing up.OK, so I buy the game, play it for 20 minutes, then turn it off to go eat. When I come back to play it, I press continue, it starts to load, and then freezes every time. I returned the game for a new one and the same thing happens. I also tried clearing my cache. BTW, other games work just fine. I just don't know what to do, I wanna play it so badly...please help. -- link989Hah.. I havent even made it past the opening birdsh*t scene with out it freezing.. Any suggestions? -- Fal1acyI got home started up the game and downloaded the patch. Played through "Childhood", then as soon as I got into my adult stage in the gypsy camp it froze. Strange freeze to, loud buzzing noise for about a second, then the screen gets all sorts of weird artifacts. I my controller no longer responds but I can turn my xbox off with the xbox media remote. ... If I am using the "coop" patch i can only go about 2-10 steps in the "gypsy forest" before it freezes. If I clear the HDD cache and refuse to download the patch, it lasts a lot longer. I'd say about 30 min or so, but it still happens. -- sansightSo far, it doesn't seem that Lionhead has addressed the issue. Have any of you encountered any such problems in your games of Fable II?
