The latest outing of the Rare-bear and his birdie buddy is now available on Xbox LIVE Games on Demand for a mere $19.99/£19.99 (unless you live in Japan). Since then, developer Rare has had some interesting things to say of the development on their Twitter, including that it is "Cheaper than retail! Somewhere." More amusing is this comment: "Nuts & Bolts hits Games On Demand and everyone starts calling it 'underrated' and 'awesome' as if it's unexpectedly died. Fickle urchins!" Following another tweet that said not to listen to the "urchins" and hailing it as a masterpiece, Rare said "Big love coming in for N&B from people all buying it again, probably." Perhaps there's something to be said about the right price for the right item making people happy.

With any luck, this last desperate gambit of a marketing push will work, and they might manage to break even on it. Who knows, maybe they'll even turn a profit? Anyway, watch before you decide-- you don't want to rush into this, now do you? Video Games | Modern Warfare 2 | Launch TrailerXBox 360 | Playstation 3 | Nintendo Wii Look, I can understand your reluctance, your hesitation. Money is tight, and buying into a title like this is a big risk. Who knows, it might not even be that good. But I really think people ought to give this one another look and consider giving it a chance, even if it's not set in World War II. We don't want another addition to all of those "underrated games" lists out there, after all, and the developers no doubt have families to feed. It would truly be a terrible shame if Activision were forced to pull the plug on this series because no one supported it.
