Common sense-blog, yeah, we've got it. In speaking to USA Today's new gaming blog (Game Hunters), Microsoft's Frank O'Connor talked about some of the upcoming bits of Halo ODST. Hmm. I guess we're still not quite done pulling stories from the Wall Street Journal article, titled "Keeping Up Nintendo's Momentum." There's truly a lot of interesting stuff in the interview. Anyway, in the interview, famed Mario and Zelda creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, disclosed that Wii Music is in fact the last of his initial ideas for Wii software. In other words, of the ideas that he had for the console when he first started thinking of software ideas for Wii, Wii Music is the last one he originally proposed oh so many years ago. WSJ: You finally unveiled Wii Music, the game that Super Mario Brothers creator Shigeru Miyamoto demonstrated three years ago. Mr. Iwata: Wii Music completes what Miyamoto wrote in his proposal when he came up with the idea for the Wii. But before we get to those, they've also sent us a quick reminder that if you're in the LA area, you can attend the Street Fighter IV launch event on February 12th, where you can even win a copy of the game a week before its official release. Do so, and you'll have not only my congratulations, but my jealousy as well. Now, without further ado, we'll kick off the videos with a live-action Japanese TV spot for the game, featuring Sakura: More cool videos are after the cut; the best is yet to come.
