At E3 Konami announced that Silent Hill 8 will in fact becoming to both the PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime next year. With that said, the company has finally released the brand-new trailer that they showed last week. The debut trailer and more after the cut.
The name won't stick, but as of now it's called Silent Hill 8 (wow, 8, really?) and it was officially revealed today during Konami's E3 conference. What changes are in store for the franchise with this game? Read on to find out.
Comments from Capcom and SEGA about the sales of their Mature-rated Wii titles have spread like wildfire around the internet. To that end, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Lead Designer Sam Barlow has decided to respond to the allegations that there is no such market on the console. "Without badmouthing people," he told the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine, "a lot of the games they've been complaining about are rail shooters and a rail shooter wouldn't have sold no matter what platform you put it on because it's a rail shooter and that's a niche genre that had its heyday back in the Dreamcast era."
