SEGA has been teasing us for weeks and months on end of what exactly we can expect from Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, formerly known as Project Needlemouse. And now, things are beginning to come together. The previous trailer revealed by the company offered only a few brief seconds of gameplay video, video that seemed to create as many questions as it answered. But today, an "anonymous source" has given 1UP some offscreen shakey-cam footage of the game from Microsoft's recent X10 event: 1UP also has some screens with their report, and TSSZ News has uploaded all of it to their own site, just in case it gets pulled.
All-Star tipster John Marbury clued us in to the trailer below late yesterday, but today, SEGA and Rare have gone all-out in spilling the beans about the presence of bear-bird duo Banjo and Kazooie in Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. And while we've been following the rumors for the past week or so, they still managed to throw us a curve. Check out the trailer to see: That's right; not only do you get Banjo in a Nuts 'n Bolts truck in the Xbox 360 version, but you can play as your Avatar in an Avacar (seriously, that's what they call it) as well! Finally, a real use for the guys, and it suits me fine, since I was never good enough to unlock my Mii in Mario Kart Wii. In addition, several new screens and art have been released and added to our gallery, which you can find below. Plus, there's a press release with the announcement. Still no word on whether there will be anything to balance this out on the other platforms, though, so right now, this looks like the one to get.
It's been awhile since we've talked about any custom LittleBigPlanet stages, but I wanted to get word about this one about before it gets inevitably yanked from Sony's servers. An inventive group of NeoGAF posters took up the task of recreating Konami's NES and arcade classic Contra in its entirety with LittleBigPlanet stages, and the job they've done is phenomenal. While I'd like to get a PlayStation 3 and the game someday, this is one group of stages that make me wish I had it here right now. See for yourself: Keep reading for more info, and to get the codes for each stage.
