Capcom Announces Third Monster Hunter Tri Bundle for Europe

Recently, Capcom announced the Western Monster Hunter Tri/3 bundle which, much like its Japanese counterpart, would include the new Classic Controller Pro. Likewise, Europe will also be privy to the CCP bundle with the game (in addition to the game sold a la carte), but they will also have a third option for the savvy Monster Hunter hunter. Playing with a snazzy new controller is only one part of the Monster Hunter experience; another part is communication, and there is only one way to do that on the Wii: Wii Speak. So for those who wish to chat with their fellow hunters but didn't rush out to pick up a Wii Speak microphone for Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City or The Conduit, a third Monster Hunter Tri bundle will include not only the game and Classic Controller Pro, but Wii Speak as well. No word has been released yet on a North American equivalent, but for more details about the European release, check the press release after the cut.

16K Sales of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Causes Capcom to Reconsider Wii

Recently, SEGA expressed their belief that Mature-rated titles on the Wii were a gamble which simply did not pay off, thus leading to no such titles planned for the foreseeable future. And having moved only 16,000 copies of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles for the same platform over three weeks' time, it appears that Capcom is ready to take a similar stance, instead shifting their focus elsewhere.

Media: Metroid: Other M Screens, Website, and Full Nintendo Summit Press Release with Gameplay Detai

One of these things is not like the others... Of the many things Nintendo talked about earlier today, the two biggest and most anticipated were no doubt Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M. But where the two differ is that we have a pretty good idea of what Super Mario Galaxy 2 should be like; "Other M" could easily mean "Other Mystery" as far as gameplay is concerned. Following the debut trailer at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo, the question on everyone's minds has been whether the game would be a 2.5D experience akin to the Metroid titles of old, or a 3D experience, perhaps like the Prime trilogy of titles. And the answer is: Both.

Capcom PSP Download Games Dated

Capcom announced last Friday, then recently pulled and reconfirmed that within the next month, the last four of its PSP games will be available on the Playstation Store in North America. Their other promised games are still nowhere in sight. Of the nearly 100 PSP games released for download coinciding with the PSPGo launch, Capcom was one of the main companies from whom a lot of games were missing. Currently, Capcom has some games on the store like Ultimate Ghosts n' Goblins, Power Stone Collection, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and their classics collections. According to Capcom's pulled blog post, the October 8th Playstation Store update will include Darkstalkers Chronicle: The Dark Tower. Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max and Capcom Puzzle World were dated for the 15th and 22nd respectively. Capcom seems to be saving two of the most wanted games – Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X, for last, pinning them at October 29th and November 5th respectively.
