The "games as art" movement is fine and dandy, and titles like Braid, Limbo and Flower have really rocked a lot of worlds. When poor imitators step up to try and grab some of the limelight, though, bad things happen. Bad things like Breeze.
Whatever you do, do not watch the trailer above. That is, unless you want to have to cut your own ears off and then swear off video games forever. If you want to hear me criticize this game some more, though, go ahead and hit the jump.
Those who follow the world of indie games may be familiar with Privates. For the uninitiated, however, here's a rundown. Players lead a gang of condom-hatted marines who delve into people's vaginas and butts. Once inside, it's their job to blast away at "oozy, shouty monsters". There's a point to be made somewhere about STDs. But mostly it's about shooting things whilst wandering around inside people's front and back bottoms.
Those hoping to play the game on the big screen are about to be disappointed, though. Hit the jump for more.
Crackdown 2 isn't even out yet and already there's talk of DLC. But in news that is positive for the industry as a whole, developer Ruffian Games is collaborating with independent developers to produce the new content.
