Flower, Sun and Rain
High on style, low on everything else.
High on style, low on everything else.
There have been other games that should be considered artistic masterpieces, but the release of Flower is sure to strike up the...
Flower is looking beautiful. A lot of critics and developers have deemed it 'poetry in motion.' The trailer below shows those poetic qualities off in great detail. The trailer comes alongside the announcement of a release date. You'll have to hit the break for that news, because I'm a jerk...
For those unfamiliar, Flower, Sun, and Rain was one of famed game creator Suda 51's first projects, released only in Japan on PS2. The game is now headed to DS, but currently its only dated for Europe (mid-October). For those Americans who are craving for more No More Heroes nonsense, importing the game is your best option right now. In addition to the plethora of screens contained beyond the break, Rising Star Games has teased that a trailer will be made available this Friday and we plan on sharing it with you then. Until that time, hit the jump:
Two trailers from flOwer, featuring Windmill and Zen gameplay. Second trailer is after the cut.
The peddles of flowers are falling all over the place in upcoming PSN title, flOwer. Much like flOw, flOwer is all about relaxing and enjoying gaming once again. It's more of an art-style than a game. Checkout the latest screens of flOwer.
Normally, I wouldn't want to post again with more videos on a game I already covered at length today, but a) it's New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and b) we're going into the weekend. No time for regrets, so let's do it! First up, remember when Miyamoto was talking about the effects of frozen enemies in water? Well, here it is: The fortress and desert await you after the cut.
Wow, if I had any idea how much material I would come across between yesterday's post and today, I would have held off on posting it. So, what do we have? Our DS gallery has 40 new screens, while our Wii gallery has 75. That's right: over 100 new screens collectively of Mario, Sonic, and all their friends playing in the snow and ice. There might even be enough snow in all of these images to keep an Xbox 360 from warming up. But that's not all; there's video, too. First up, courtesy of the Sonic City Blognik, is the new GamesCom 2009 trailer, which reveals two new characters: ...and maybe it's me, but it kind of cuts off abruptly. Anyway, turns out the new characters are... Silver and Bowser Jr., just as rumored/reported yesterday. But I guess now, it's official. Hit the link to see another video, this time interviewing SEGA of Europe's Head of Marketing, David Corless, about the game.
Here is the trailer we promised. It looks like Suda51's style.
