Nintendo vs. R4 and Piracy
Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against the owner of NXPGame.com, a site that sells R4 devices, for infringement on their intellectual property rights. R4s are devices that bypass security measures on all models of the DS and can be purchased for less then $10. Nintendo claims that after "multiple letters and telephone calls" the unnamed distributor of these devices shut down NXPGame.com. Shortly after, however, the owner started a new R4 web site: WiiLoveDS.com (Nintendo is also sewing for copy right infringement with the use of this web address). This newest website is currently dead. More after the break.
