Rumors leaked out about new PS3s hitting stores before E3, but the event came and went without a peep about them. Turns out Sony was waiting for the proper time to announce them...which, apparently, is right now. The company has officially announced that the current 120 GB and 250 GB PS3 models will be discontinued...to make room for new 160 GB and 320 GB models. The 160 GB will set Japanese gamers back about 30,000 yen, while the 320 GB version will weigh in at 35,000 yen. Both models, at this time, have only been announced for Japan. But that's not all. The PS3 slim will be, for the first time, available in two separate colors, the same-old black, or a sleek white.

Upon arriving at the hotel for the WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 review event two weeks ago, THQ had left itineraries of what to expect. And there was one item of particular interest: a "Creation Workshop" in which we would create a wrestler in the new game and have it judged by a "special WWE guest." Who could it be? We were left in suspense until after the presentation the following morning, when we were all introduced to the new United States Champion, Mike Mizanin, better known simply as The Miz. The Miz took the podium, expressed his excitement for the game (which ships tomorrow), and then got right down to business, wanting to know why his ranking in the game was so low. He felt disparaged that there were actually Divas who had rankings higher than his 78, and made it clear that in next year's game, he had better come in with at least a 90, or else there would be trouble.
This week, the Nintendo Download is jam-packed with new content, with the lion's share going to DSiWare. That's not to say WiiWare has wound up short; the sequel to LostWinds, Winter of the Melodias, is now available for 1,000 Wii Points. Joining it is Hudson Entertainment's latest effort, Shootanto: Evolutionary Mayhem, a Wii-styled shooter for one or two players and 500 Wii Points. The DSi is rolling in Domo-kun, as the iconic Japanese character surfaces in not one, not two, but five different titles, each for 200 DSiPoints. Choose from Crash-Course, Hard Hat, Pro-Putt, Rock-n-Roll, and White-Water Domo games. Finally, the Virtual Console does not go ignored, as Tecmo's Rygar hits the Virtual Console Arcade with Diskarmor spinning for 600 Wii Points. Find out more details on all of these titles in the press release after the cut.
Your time is up, and the time is now. We asked you what you wanted to know about WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010 from its creators, and at last week's review event, we took it to THQ with your questions. And boy, did you guys ever have a lot of questions-- it looks like they kept pouring in well after the cut-off time. There was only so much time to chat, so we got as many of your questions answered as we could. But before we get into that, check out the new ad for the game: So, there's your lesson, kids: if you feed John Cena to the cougars, then it's your world now. On with the questions!
Platforming, puzzles and a really, really, really ridiculously good looking suit.
