PreviewsiOS devices get some Turtle Beach love
[Continued] Page 2
The last of the iSeries headsets I was shown was the Turtle Beach iSeries i60. It's pretty much a combination of the i10 and i30 headsets with a lot more goodies thrown in. First off, the headset is light and comfortable; the memory foam ear cushions sit snuggly around your ear, and combined with the ANC, no outside noise will get through if you don't want it to. It has the same 15-hour battery life and dual hidden mics, and uses Dual-Pairing WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for a clear connection. Pairing to the Transmitter Base lets you connect wirelessly to iPads, iPhones and Macs.
What's special about the i60 is the sound quality; if you want a headset for the premium media experience that Apple products can deliver, then the i60 is the headset you need. And for these features:

The i60 features digital surround sound, so you can really pinpoint the direction of every sound you're hearing. Furthermore, you can customize the surround sound to your ears by altering the position of the surround sound angles. For even more customization, you can download entertainment-specific presets from TurtleBeach.com or you can create and customize your own with the Advanced Sound Editor for Mac. With Variable Bass Boost, you get to hear the deep lows like you would with a sub-woofer, so you're getting a complete sound experience.
One last fun little feature is the Voice Morph, which lets you disguise your voice when you're using the mic. You can make it screechingly high or really deep like you're in a horror movie. I didn't get to try that out, but they did let me turn the sounds dial a few times.
The Turtle Beach iSeries headsets are sleek, sound great, and are perfect for Apple users. Release date and price are yet to be announced, but stay tuned for more updates.
