NewsAmazon sold out of PS4 and Xbox One launch editions
The U.S. portion of Amazon has officially sold out of launch day editions of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This includes all of the various PS4 launch bundles as well. In a post on Facebook, the online retail giant confirmed, "After a crazy and exciting month, we’ve sold through our initial allocations of PS4 and Xbox One."
The standard edition of each console is still available, but Amazon "can't guarantee these at release." It's still possible Sony and Microsoft could supply the retailer with more launch day systems, so we'll be sure to keep track of any further updates by the company.
For those not willing to wait, the launch day edition of the Xbox One and PS4 can still be purchased at other online retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, and GameStop.
