Leonardo is the latest hero in a half-shell to be highlighted by Activison and Red Fly Studio via a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows trailer.

The oldest brother, Leonardo is the leader of the four Turtles – an accomplished tactician possessing a discipline and focus as sharp as his blades. His selfless sense of responsibility for the family sometimes puts him at odds with the headstrong Raphael, who too often only thinks of himself.

Dual-wielding katanas, Leonardo is described as the most "well-rounded" fighter out of the group. According to developer Red Fly Studio, his lack of a glaring weakness and general aptitude for speed, reach, damage, and reactiveness makes Leonard the easiest for novice players to pick up and play. For a unique weapon upgrade, Leo combines his twin katanas together at the hilt, forming a twisting Blade Staff.
