NewsAnimal Crossing: New Leaf 3DS bundle announced during Nintendo Direct

Yesterday, we speculated that Nintendo would announce an Animal Crossing: New Leaf-themed 3DS XL hardware bundle during today's Nintendo Direct. The U.K. retailer ShopTo had a listing for the bundle, which it promptly removed, but not before the whole internet saw it. Somebody over there jumped the gun posting it, potentially spoiling an announcement by Nintendo.
That was indeed the case. During Nintendo Direct, it was confirmed that the bundle will be releasing on June 14th alongside the game. It comes with a pre-installed digital copy of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and will cost $219.99.
