NewsMLB 13 The Show looks pretty damn impressive on the Vita
We've known for a while now that MLB 13 The Show will offer a cross-play between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita; however, everything we've seen of the game so far has been of PS3 gameplay footage. Sony sought to fix this by releasing today a new MLB 13 The Show trailer composed entirely of Vita gameplay footage.
As you can see from the video below, it looks pretty damn good.
As you might have already heard, new to this year's installment is the ability to play a Home Run Derby cross-platform. Up to eight players can participate in one online match regardless of whether they are playing on the PS3 console or Vita handheld. All players bat simultaneously with the ability to see their opponents' attempts as colored arcs. There will also be a real-time in-game scoreboard.
This is just one of the few improvements made for the Vita version. Sony will get more in-depth with the refinements at a later date.
