NewsMario and Zelda characters popping up in Scribblenauts Unlimited on Wii U
Warner Bros. Interactive has announced a neat perk for the Wii U version of Scribblenauts Unlimited. In what can only be considered quite the pleasant surprise, a few Nintendo characters will make cameo appearances in the upcoming word-based puzzler.
According to the publisher, "Players can summon dozens of their favorite characters and items from the Mario and Legend of Zelda franchises." Um, awesome? How about yeah!
I'm a sucker for cameos, so it goes without saying that I'm super excited to conjure up characters like Yoshi and Link in the upcoming Scribblenauts Unlimited. Admittedly, I think it's a bit odd that these characters won't be available on the 3DS version of the game.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to use adjectives and crazy items to modify the Nintendo characters, as reported by IGN. Bummer. I was looking forward to making a giant, flying, afro-sporting Yoshi.
