NewsEA Black Box could be developing a multiplayer console shooter version of Plants vs. Zombies
Need for Speed: The Run developer EA Black Box is reportedly working on a multiplayer console shooter starring Plants vs. Zombies characters. However, original creator PopCap has yet to give final approval on the project.
One job posting hints at the game's content, seeking a multiplayer designer with experience creating "extremely fun and polished multiplayer maps" and "designing levels where the player has a lot of freedom to manipulate the game space (destruction, construction, modification)."
Another posting asks for a world modeler who can work "with a cartoon style and tone."
EA revealed the PvZ Presents Talking Zombatar app last week at its Summer Showcase. It's a talking virtual pet that allows players to purchase clothing through microtransactions.
