NewsPac-Man, Mega Man will never be in Xbox 360 version of SFXT
If you were still hoping that Pac-Man and Mega Man would arrive on the Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter X Tekken, well, then the title of this news post was probably very heartbreaking for you. I'm sorry I had to be the bearer of bad news, and I'm sorry you had to hear about it this way. It's complicated, though. Actually, it's not all that complicated. It's just a thing that will never, ever happen.
Speaking to Siliconera, Street Fighter X Tekken producer Tomoyaki Ayano commented on the matter, saying, "Unfortunately for Xbox 360 users, Mega Man and Pac-Man are exclusive to the PS3 version of the game."
When asked about the data for the two characters that some hackers found on the Xbox 360 version of the game, the developer clarified that every game has unused bits of data in it, but that don't mean squat, son! "They are PS3 exclusives and that was our intention from the very beginning," said Ayano. "They are not going to be timed exclusives either, they’re PS3 exclusives."
So there you have it, folks. No Pac-Man in Street Fighter X Tekken for Xbox 360. No Mega Man in Street Fighter X Tekken for Xbox 360. Ever. Well, that kind of blows.
