NewsScribblenauts dev says Wii U is 'definitely' more powerful than current gen
5th Cell CEO Jeremiah Slaczka believes that the Wii U is "definitely more powerful than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3."
The developer is currently working on Scribblenauts Unlimited for release on Wii U and 3DS. Slaczka told Game Informer, "It's kind of frustrating to see the rumors and speculation of people going back and forth saying it's weaker or more powerful. It's definitely more powerful."
Reports about the console have been conflicting. "No, it's not up to the same level as the PS3 or the 360," one developer told GamesIndustry International.
We'll find out the truth for ourselves soon enough, but there doesn't seem to be much credibility to 5th Cell's claims, considering they've worked closely with Nintendo's systems, PC, and mobile — not Sony's and Microsoft's consoles.
