Just when things in the Fighting Game Community are at their best, Shoryuken.com sets out to make them better. On tonight's Cross Counter Live, Mr. Wizard of SRK dropped the trailer for the upcoming Evolution Championships.

Some highlights if you don't feel like watching the video (though you should, it's very well put together, and contains some of the more Hype-filled moments of Evo 2011).

• Mortal Kombat's tournament has a $20,000 bonus pot, courtesy of Warner Bros Studios
• Mad Catz is developing an Evo Arcade Stick that will be on sale at the tournament, no pictures available yet.
• The Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Championship of Legends will be held at Evo this year, allowing people to see what true skill looked like 16 years ago.
• The usual industry and community panels will be on hand at Evo yet again this year, including Capcom, Netherealm, Namco and more.
• The Bring Your Own Console area will feature some indie fighting games not yet revealed anywhere else.
